RESOLUTION NO. / -
RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO
MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 272.162
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 462.36 authorizes cities to record a certified
copy of their subdivision regulations with the county recorder; and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina's subdivision regulations are set forth in
Section 820, et seq. of the Medina City Code; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 272.162 provides that cities may
choose to have the provisions of such statute pertaining to restrictions on transfers
of parcels of land, applied to property within the city;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The City of Medina hereby declares that Minnesota Statutes Section 272.162
will apply to all property within its boundaries.
2. The City Clerk -Treasurer is hereby directed to file a certified copy of the
City's subdivision regulations with the Hennepin county recorder.
3. The City Clerk -Treasurer is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this
resolution with the Hennepin county auditor and recorder.
