Board: Mayor Philip Vandernail; Mayor Pro-Tem Eileen Waldow; Trustees; Andy
Miller, Katie Soles (via phone) and Ryan Barwick
Staff: Town Manager Jeff Durbin; Town Clerk, Antoinette McVeigh; Public
Works Director Allen Nordin; Town Planner, Catherine Trotter; Police

Mayor Vandernail called the meeting to order at 7:13 p.m.
1. Rollcall:
2. Swearing in of Elected Town Board Members
The Town Clerk, Antoinette McVeigh swore in Ryan Barwick and Andy Miller.
3. Approval of Agenda:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to remove item 5a)
Byer's Peak Ranch Filing #1 Driveway Access and approve the Agenda. Motion
carried: 5-0.
TM Durbin removed the committee member and municipal appointments, discussion
items 5d-5j. This will be on the May 16, 2018 agenda.
4. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes —April 18, 2018
b) Resolution 2018-05-01 Transit Expenditures
c) Resolution 2018-05-02 Agreement with Grand County Water and Sanitation
District #1
d) Resolution 2018-05-03 Fraser River Partnership Source Water
Protection Plan
Trustee Waldow moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to approve the
consent agenda. Motion carried: 4-0-1, Miller abstained from approving the
minutes.
5. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding
b) 2017 Financial Audit Presentation

Paul Backes from McMann and Associates presented the 2017 financial audit.
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve the 2017
Financial Audit as presented. Motion carried: 5-0
c) Grand County Strategic Plan
Richard Cimino, Grand County Commissioner presented the Grand County Strategic
Plan.
6. Open Forum
a) Casey Voigtlaender presented a ban on single use bag program.
b) Mayor Vandernail and TM Durbin attended a presentation regarding the Fraser
Creative Art Center.
c) Mayor Vandernail and TM Durbin attended the Board of County Commissioners
meeting on May 1, 2018.
d) TM Durbin discussed the June TB meeting schedule. No decisions were made.

Trustee Waldow moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion
carried: 5-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
