Resolution No. 12-8368
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO DESIGNATE
COMMISSIONER TIMOTHY HOLMES AS THE CITY'S
REPRESENTATIVE AT TRIAL IN THE CASE OF
BLACKMAN AND WALLS VS CITY OF OPA-LOCKA;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the trial of Blackman and Walls vs the City of Opa-locka is scheduled to
commence in Federal District Court ; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to designate an official
representative for representation of the City during the trial; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Timothy Holmes has agreed to serve as the City's official
representative at the trial of Blackman and Walls vs. City of Opa-locka.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby designates
Commissioner Tmothy Holmes as the official representative for the City of Opa-locka in the case of
Blackman and Walls vs City of Opa-locka.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of March, 2012.
