A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER 00-32
REGARDING THE RELOCATION OF A BUS STOP.
WHEREAS, by Resolution Number 00-32 the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret adopted a resolution requesting the relocation
of the bus stop at the intersection of Pershing and Cooke Avenues;
and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that in order to accomplish the
project it is necessary to remove a bus sign north of the proposed new
bus stop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret that it is hereby requested of New
Jersey Transit that the bus stop sign approximately 30' north of the
proposed new bus stop shelter be removed.
BE, IT, FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed relocation site
for the new bus stop be changed from "75 feet north of the current
location on Pershing Avenue" to the comer of Noe Street and
Pershing Avenue".
BE, IT, FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take
effect immediately.
