RESOLUTION NO. 12-8385
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO REQUEST
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FROM MIAMI-DADE
COUNTY TO ASSIST THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE
WITH RECORDS MANAGEMENT; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,the City Clerk's office of the City of Opa-locka continues to have issues with
records management; and
WHEREAS,Miami-Dade County has technical expertise in this area,which it shares with
municipalities upon request.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, hereby requests
Miami-Dade County to provide technical assistance to the City of Opa-locka City Clerk's office,to
assist with records management.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
