RESOLUTION APPROVING FIREWORKS FOR CARTERET'S THIRD OF
JUL Y FESTIVAL
\VHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret believe that having a
tireworks display at the Third of July Festival, woulg be an enjoyable way to enhance the
event and an appropriate symbol of community pride; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a permit to display the fireworks it is necessary for the
Borough to adopt a resolution approving said display;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Borough Clerk be and
is hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to obtain any and all
permits to facilitate "Carteret's Third of July Festival" fireworks display.
Adopted this 19" day of May, 2009 and
certified as a true copy nfthe original on
May 20, 2009.
