AND TO TURN IT IN TO THE CITY CLERK PRIOR TO THE START OF THE MEETING.
FAILURE TO FILL OUT SUCH A FORM WILL PROHIBIT YOU FROM ADDRESSING THE
COUNCIL IN THE ABSENCE OF THE UNANIMOUS CONSENT OF THE COUNCIL.

4. FY 2002/03 YEAR END BUDGET REVIEW
Comments:
The purpose of this item is to provide the Agency Chairman and Board
Members with a brief overview of the Lynwood Information, Inc. Annual
Operating Budget for FY 2002/03.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the Lynwood Information Inc. Members receive
and file this document relative to the year-end budget.

SUBJECT: F.Y. 2002-03 Year-End Budget Review
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this item is to provide the Agency Chairman and Board Members with a
brief overview of the Lynwood Information, Inc. Annual Operating Budget for F.Y. 2002-
03.
BACKGROUND:
The Lynwood Information, Inc. (LII) Operating Budget is prepared annually to account
for:
• The City's contribution to LII for media services.
• Media service expenses (i.e. monthly newsletter, cable programming, public relations,
etc.).
ANALYSIS:
The current year's budget includes expenditures for the newsletter (Lynwood N
Perspective), the taping of various community programs/events, and other media
services.
No changes in the current year's operating budget have been requested. Therefore,
the fund balance for fiscal year ending June 30, 2003 is estimated at $124,995.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully recommends that the Agency Chairman and Board Members receive
and file document relative to the year-end budget review.
