Mayor Pro Tern Blum called the meeting to order at 7:01 p .m. in the Longden
Elementary School Memo li Hall located at 9501 Wendon Street, Temple City .

4. NEW BUSINESS
A. DISCUSSION OF CURRENT IN ITIATIVES AND PRIORITIES FOR THE
CITY 'S STRATEG IC PLAN (Make TC Happen)
The City Council and staff are currently laying out a schedule of tasks and
goals for Temple City, also known as a Strategic Plan , for the next 15 to
20 years and its top priorities for the next three to five years. The goals for
the City will cover topics such as parks and trees, economic development,
and land use planning.
Mayor Pro Tern Blum gave a brief introduction of City's Strategic Plan and
its purpose.
Administrative Services Director Hause gave a brief presentation of how
the City's Strategic Plan ties into the City's newly adopted Priority Base
Budgeting process.
Jennifer Lilley, Lilley Group President-City's Strategic Plan consultant , and
City staff facilitated the breakout sessions reviewing the City's initiatives,
programs and resources identified-to-date to confirm alignment of goals
and values of the community .
