Resolution No. 12-8406
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA IN
THE LITIGATION ROADRUNNER PROFESSIONAL, LLC VS.
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka is being sued by Roadrunner Professional, LLC for
breach of contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney is requesting authorization from the City Commission to
go forward, in handling the litigation of the case; and
WHEREAS, the City of Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires the City Attorney
to represent the City of Opa-locka in the litigation matter involving Roadrunner Professional,
LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka authorizes the City
Attorney to represent the City of Opa-locka in the case of Roadrunner Professional, LLC vs. City
of Opa-locka, Case No. 12-10659 CA 09, in the Circuit Court, in and for Miami-Dade County,
Florida.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
