RESOLUTION NO.
The following resolution was offered by e
BE IT RESOLVED, that the paper procurement policy being implemented by the
City of Medina is hereby adopted as the paper procurement policy for all city departments:
1. The policy of the city will be use recycled paper containing at least
50% recycled fiber.
2. Recycled content paper should be used in all convenience copiers throughout
the city for one-sided copying.
3. All paper utilized in computer printers should be recycled paper including
form -fed and laser printers.
4. All one -time -use -only (such as memo paper, note pads, telephone messagepads
and notebook paper) should be recycled paper.
5. All stationery and business cards should be printed on recycled paper.
6. The City of Medina shall maintain in-house stocks of papers commonly used
by the city with a minimum of 50% recycled content and process orders for
printing on recycled paper in a routine manner.
7. The new contract for convenience copiers should require the capability of
handling two-sided copying on recycled papers.
8. Any new high-speed duplicators to be purchased by the city should be capable
of handling recycled paper.
