RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS Hennepin County has amended Ordinance # 13 and now requires
that recycling services are available and participated in by multi-
family housing, and
WHEREAS the City of Medina has a residential curbside program in
place, and
WHEREAS the City of Medina receives a subsidy from Hennepin County
based on volume and percentage of participation and must comply with
the Hennepin County ordinance, now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that buildings with more than six (6) units
shall provide on-premiserecycling opportunities for its tenants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the materials to be collected, at a min-
imum, be the same as those collected for single family units in
Medina, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such recycling opportunities be in place
by September 16, 1991.
