Resolution No. 12-8420
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY
ATTORNEY'S OFFICE TO REPRESENT THE CITY OF OPA-
LOCKA IN THE LITIGATION OF DANRON MANAGEMENT,
INC., VS. CITY OF OPA-LOCKA; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka is being sued by Danron Management, Inc., relating
to zoning issues; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney is requesting authorization from the City Commission to
go forward, in defending the litigation of the case; and
WHEREAS, the City of Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires the City
Attorney's Office to represent the City of Opa-locka in the litigation matter involving Danron
Management, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka authorizes the City
Attorney's Office to represent the City of Opa-locka in the case of Danron Management, Inc.,
vs. City of Opa-locka, Case No. 12-17668 CA 42, in the Circuit Court, in and for Miami-Dade
County, Florida.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
