MINUTES
July 17, 1973
INITIATION:
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Tyrell called the meeting of the Community Redevelop-
ment Agency to order at 11:03 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 1973,
in the Council Chamber of the City Hall.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Members - Briggs, Dennis, Gilbertson, Merritt,
Tyrell
Also Present: Executive Director Koski, Assistant Director
Dragicevich, City Attorney Martin
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Mr. Gilbertson moved to approve the minutes of the regular
meeting held July 3, 1973, as written, seconded by Mr. Dennis
and carried.
4. PROPOSED RESTAURANT, PARCEL "E"
ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
City Manager presented background information, advising that
the owner of the Shrimp Boat Restaurant has submitted plans
for the removal of existing facilities and construction of a
new restaurant at the same location. The Planning Commission,
at their meeting held July 10, 1973, reviewed the proposal
which is located in Parcel "E" of the Rosemead Boulevard
Redevelopment Project, and found it to be compatible with the
Rosemead Boulevard Redevelopment Plan as adopted by the CRA
on May 16, 1972, and recommends that the plan be approved.
Mr. Gilbertson moved to concur with the Planning Commission
and approve the proposed plan for the new restaurant and
authorize the issuance of necessary permits, seconded by Mr.
Dennis and carried unanimously.
5. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned by the Chairman at 11:0Vp.m.
