AN ORDINANCE OFTHE CITY OF JEFFERSON,MISSOURI,RELINQUISHING A CERTAIN
EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES IN LOT 7 OF STONERIDGE VILLAGE
SECTION TWO.
WHEREAS, by an easement recorded in Book 244, Page 648, of the Records of the Cole
County, Missouri, a sewer easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a
Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and
repair structures for the routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and
through the lots, tracts or parcels of land described in Section 1 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus property
of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose:
From the northwesterly corner of said LOT 7 of STONERIDGE VILLAGE-
SECTION TWO; thence S4 02046"E, along the westerly line of said LOT 7,
298.40 feet; thence N85°5359"E, 241 .01 feet; thence N67 038'58"E, 54.00
feet to the northwesterly line of said first described SANITARY SEWER
EASEMENT and the POINT OF BEGINNING for this description; thence
N28 015'58"E, along the northwesterly line of said first described SANITARY
SEWER EASEMENT, 146.48 feet;thence N6801 0'58"E,continuing along the
northwesterly line of said first described SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT,
183.61 feet to the boundary line of said LOT 7; thence S34 00752"E, along
the boundary line of said LOT 7, 10.24 feet to the southeasterly line of said
first described SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT;thence S6801 0'58"W, along
the southeasterly line of said first described SANITARY SEWER
EASEMENT, 182.16 feet; thence S28 015'58"W, continuing along the
southeasterly line of said first described SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT,
130.67 feet; thence S67 038'58"W, 15.76 feet to the point of beginning. The
location of the partial easement being vacated is further shown on the
attached Exhibit 'B'.
Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the
City does hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in the easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any
necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tract of ground
described in Section 1 .
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage/and approval. r�
