RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PERSON-TO- PERSON TRANSFER OF
A.B.C LICENSE NO. 1201-33-006-006 FROM: CHATEAU MADRID CORP.
TO: TPG RESTAURANT, LLC
WHEREAS, application has been made to the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret, Connly of Middlesex, State of New Jersey by TPG Restanrant, LLC for a
Person-to-Person Transfer of A.B.C. License #1201-33-006-006 from Chateau Madrid
Corp. present holder of the same, premises located at 8 Holly Street, Carteret, New Jersey
and said license has consented to assign their rights to said license to the aforesaid
applicant, TPG Restanrant, LLC; and
WHEREAS, according to law, the application for transfer was duly advertised in The
Home News Tribune, a newspaper circulated in the Borough of earteeet and no
objections, either verbally.or in writing, were filed or made to the Governing Body or to
the Municipal Clerk regarding said transfer; and
WHEREAS, tbe applicant has disclosed and the local authority has reviewed the sonrce
of all funds used in the purchase of said license and the licensed business and all
additional fInancing obtained in connection with the licensed business; and
WHEREAS, the application form is complete In all respects and the applicant is
qualified to be licensed according to all standards established by Title 33 of the New
Jersey Statutes, promulgated thereunder, as well as pertinent local ordinances and
conditions consistent with Title33.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Mayor and
Conncil of the Borough ofCarteret, State of New Jersey, the ABC LICENSE #1201-33-
006-006 heretofore granted to Chateau Madrid Corp. be and the same is hereby
transferred to the applicant, TPG Restaurant, LLC to sell alcoholic beverages in
confonnity with the laws, statutes, rules and regulations of the State of New Jersey and
with the resolutions, ordinances and regulations of1he State of New Jersey and with the
resolutions, ordinances, rules and regulations of the Borough of Carteret relating to and
concerning said license and to be held by them until said license expires, unless sooner
revoked.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the endorsement of this Person-to-Person Transfer on behalf of the
Mayor and Council ofthe Borough of Carteret; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution be sent
forthwith to the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of
Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing Bureau, CN 087) Trenton, New Jersey 08625-
0087
Adopted this 4th day of December, 2008
and certified as a true copy of the original
