HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD14653 BILL NO. 2009-141 SPONSORED BY COUNCILMAN / 2Struemoh ORDINANCE NO. l �( � l AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF FAIRGROUND ACRES SUBDIVISION, SECTION ONE, A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI. WHEREAS, Senevey Building Company, LLC, owner of the real estate hereinafter described, having submitted to the City Council a plat of said real estate, being located in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri, and being part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the northwest corner of Lot 1 of Covington Gardens Subdivision Section One, as per plat of record in Plat Book 11, page 932, Cole County Recorder's Office, said point also being on the easterly right of way line of London Way as per Dedication of Right of Way of record in Book 386, page 157, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence N01°07'01"E along said easterly right of way line of London Way, 975.34 feet; thence leaving said easterly right of way line of London Way, S87 042'25"E, 172.43 feet; thence S06 045'38"E, 343.71 feet; thence N62°06'13"E, 151.24 feet; thence S27 007'36"E, 308.52 feet; thence S23 035'06"W, 475.92 feet to a point on the south line of aforesaid Section 17, said point also being on the north line of said Covington Gardens Subdivision Section One; thence N87 037'58"W along said south line of said Section 17, also being the north line of Covington Gardens Subdivision, Section One, 315.96 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 7.79 acres. and, WHEREAS, it appearing that said plat has been fully and properly signed and accepted by the owner of said subdivision, known and referred to as the Final Subdivision Plat of Fairground Acres Subdivision, Section One, that all taxes have been paid, that in all respects the requirements of Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled "Plats" have been fully complied with by the owner of said subdivision, and that in all respects the requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions have been complied with. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Final Subdivision Plat of Fairground Acres Subdivision, Section One, lying, being and situated within the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri. SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to endorse acceptance of said plat hereon and to certify the approval of said plat under the seal of the City of Jefferson. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
