CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FOR
SCOTT DALLMANN AND BRENDA DALLMANN
WHEREAS, Scott Dallmann and Brenda Dallmann (Applicants) have
requested a variance to reduce the required front setback from 50
feet to 21 feet, 6 inches, to construct an addition to the house
and a garage at 4602 Wichita Trail; and
WHEREAS, Section 825.45 of the City's Code of Ordinances and
Minn. Stat. Section 462.457 require that variances from the strict
interpretation of the zoning ordinance be granted only when there
is a demonstrated hardship because of circumstances unique to the
property; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission considered the Applicants'
request and has recommended approval thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has had an opportunity to review the
matter and to hear from the Applicants regarding their request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Medina, Minnesota that the Applicants' request for the above
variance is granted, conditioned upon construction of the house
addition and garage in strict accordance with the plans,
specifications and drawings submitted by the Applicants and
reviewed by the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Medina that the variance hereby granted is justified by
the location of the existing house and septic system and because of
the configuration of the lot and of the road.
