ORDINANCE NO. I4Z,1 /eL,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH J. C. INDUSTRIES,
INC. FOR THE TANNER BRIDGE ROAD AND ELLIS BOULEVARD INTERSECTION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
an agreement with J. C. Industries, Inc. for the Tanner Bridge Road and Ellis Boulevard
Intersection.
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.

Re: Tanner Bridge Road and Ellis Boulevard Intersection
Project No. 32089
Public Works has completed a review of the bids opened at 1:30 PM on April 22, 2010 for the above
noted project. As part of the review all the bids were tabulated to check for math errors and to compare
unit price quotes of the various contractors. Attached to this memo is the tabulation of the three (3)
bids that were received for the project.
Based on our review, we recommend acceptance of the base bid from the low bidder J.C. Industries,
Inc., PO Box 104567, Jefferson City, MO 65110-4567. The bid total is $737,377.10.
The project will be expensed as follows:
