AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FOR PHASE I, HEALTH AND
WELLNESS CENTER PROJECT AND APPROPRIATING
THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFORE
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has entered into a contract agreement providing for
construction of new Carteret Health and \Vellness Center; and
\YHEREAS, the Borough is making provisions for payment of the various constmction
components comprising the new facility in accordance with its redevelopment agreement
for said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED, as follows:
1. That the Purchasing Department is hereby authorized and directed to make
payment for the following contract work for Phase I of the Health and
Wellness Center Project in an amount not to exceed $5,000,000.00:
. Site Wark (including utilities, survey & geotechnical)
. Concrete/1\1asonry
. Structural Steel
. Electrical- (partial)
. Plumbing ~ (partial)
. HV AC - (partial)
2. A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and Borough Engineer.
Adopted this 23" day of July, 2009
and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 24, 2009.
