WARRANT
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
May 3 . 1995

Constable of the Town of Brewster

Greetings :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts , you are
hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of
Brewster , qualified to vote in Town affairs , to meet at the
Brewster Elementary School Cafetorium , on Wednesday the third day
of May , 1995 next , at 7 : 00 p . m . o ' clock in the evening , then and
there to act upon the following article :
SPECIAL LEGISLATION
ARTICLE 1 . To see if the Town will vote to authorize and
instruct the Board of Selectmen to petition the General Court to
enact special legislation in the form given as follows or in a form
substantially similar to it :
SECTION 1 . With respect to the proposed
construction and actual construction of a new elementary
school and with respect to all access ways which will
lead to and from the proposed elementary school , the Town
of Brewster ( a ) shall not be subject to the provisions of
chapter sixty- one of the acts of one thousand nine
hundred ninety- two and ( b ) shall not be subject to the
provisions of chapter four hundred seventy of the acts of
one thousand nine hundred seventy- three nor to any of the
subsequent amendments thereof .
SECTION 2 . This act shall take effect upon its
passage ;
or to take any other action relative thereto .

ANY OTHER BUSINESS
ARTICLE 2 . To act on any other business that may legally
come before this meeting .
And you are hereby directed to serve this Warrant with your
doings thereon to the Town Clerk at the time and place of said
meeting as aforesaid .

Brewster , hereby certify that I served the Warrant for the Special
Town Meeting of May 3 , 1995 by posting attested copies thereof , in
six ( 6 ) public places in different parts of the Town of Brewster ,
in accordance with the Town Bylaws , on the eleventh day of April , _
1995 .
