HomeMy Public PortalAbout1992-009Member 111011e(1 introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. i;,)-(?r RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL FOR A LOT DIVISION TO JEFFREY SISK WHEREAS, Jeffrey Sisk (Applicant) has requested preliminary approval for a division of his property located at 1750 Homestead Trail; and WHEREAS, the parcel is larger than originally thought and there exists sufficient soils to allow its subdivision into two lots; and WHEREAS, the proposed lot division was considered by the planning commission on January 14, 1992 and by the city council on February 4, 1992. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, that preliminary approval is given to the Applicant for a lot division, subject to the following: 1. The Applicant must pay a park dedication fee for the new (northerly) parcel; 2. It is acknowledged that the new lot has room for an animal structure; 3. Both lots must use the 60' x 60' easement to be conveyed to the city for access to Homestead Trail; 4. The Applicant must protect the designated primary and secondary septic system sites on the new lot with stakes or fencing to prevent damage to the sites; 5. The Applicant must convey to the city the right-of-way along Homestead Trail required by the city engineer; 6. The Applicant must convey to the city the utility easements, drainage easements and the 60' x 60' access easement required by the city engineer; 7. The Applicant must submit the report of septic testing by SP Testing to be retained as part of the city's file; RH329576 ME230-148 1 8. The Applicant must submit a current abstract of title or registered property abstract covering all of the property to be divided for review by the city attorney; and 9. The Applicant must pay to the city for administrative expenses the amount determined by city staff to represent the actual cost to the city of reviewing the lot division. DATED: Z,(,(,Cz _ / 1992.
