HomeMy Public PortalAbout12-8466 Community Newspaper for Services Related to Publication Sponsored by: City Manager RESOLUTION NO. 12-8466 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO RENEW THE AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY NEWSPAPERS FOR SERVICES RELATED TO PUBLICATON OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA REVIEW NEWSPAPER, IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,000, PAYABLE FROM ACCOUNT 19-519340; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the current Agreement with Community Newspapers for the City Opa- locka Review has expired, and needs to be renewed; and WHEREAS, the financial impact of the publication services is $24,000, payable from General Government, Other Contract Service Account- 19-519340; and WHEREAS,The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the City Manager to renew the agreement with Community Newspapers for publication services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to renew the agreement with Community Newspapers for publication of the City of Opa-locka Review Newspaper in the amount of$24,000.00, payable from Account 19-513340.
