- ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Executive Director Koski presented background information, stating
the Lease Agreement entered into between the Agency and City for
the use of the Agency parking lot facilities on December 1, 1974,
involved Parcel B -1(c). The parcel, facing on Rosemead Boulevard
will contain a savings and loan building, a bank and some 30 parking
spaces, In completing the plans for the development of the Shopping
Center, it was necessary that Parcel B -1(c) be moved to the south by
10 feet. By shifting Parcel B -1(c) from the north does not represent
an enlargement of this parcel, but merely relocates its boundary,
which requires an amendment to the legal description set forth in
Exhibit "A" to the Lease Agreement,
Mr, Tyrell moved to approve amendment to Lease Agreement and adopt
Resolution CRA -74 A RESOLUTION OF THE TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY RE-
DEVELOPMENT AGENCY MAKING CERTAIN DETERMINATIONS WITH RESPECT TO
THE NEED AND USEFULNESS OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE ROSEMEAD
BOULEVARD PARKING FACILITIES: AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
AMENDMENTS TO A LEASE, AND CONSENTING TO AMENDMENTS OF AN AGREE -
MENT FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD
PARKING FACILITIES, and to request City Council grant a waiver
and certificate of compliance to convey Parcel B -1(c) by metes
and bounds and certify the parcel meets the requirements of the
State Subdivision Map Act, seconded by Mr, Greenberg and carried.
