RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH pREFERRED
CLEANING SOLUTIONS
WHEREAS, Preferred Cleaning Solutions ("Preferred") has installed and
maintains equipment to maintain negative air in portions of the Borough Hall; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (The "Borough") needs to continue to
maintain the services provided by Preferred Cleaning Solutions; and
WHEREAS, Preferred Cleaning Solutions has proposed to provide said services
in accordance with the attached proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the Air Treatment Equipment and services provided by
Preferred Cleaning Solutions is hereby extended for a period of two (2) months,
in an amount not to exceed $3000.00;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this action is taken without competitive
bidding in that the amount involved does not exceed the bid threshold.
Adopted this 1st day of June, 2000
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 2, 2000.

As per Resolution Number 00-172.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following
AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT THAT EQUIPMENT INSTALLED AND
MAINTAINED AT BOROUGH HALL TO MAINTAI NEGATIVE AIR.
NOT TO EXCEED: $3000.00
According to the tenns set tbrth in Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set
forth in Resolution.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have hereunder set their hands and seals or
caused these presents to be signed by their proper corporate officers and their corporate
seals to be hereto affixed, the day and year written above.
