COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
MINUTES
March 16, 1976
INITIATION:
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Gilbertson called the meeting of the Community Redevelopment
Agency to order at 8:23 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 1976, in the Council
Chamber of the City Hall.
Present: Members- Dennis, Greenberg ,Merritt,Tyrell,Gilbertson
Absent: Members -None
Also Present: Executive Director Koski, General Counsel Martin
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Mr. Dennis moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of the
Community Redevelopment Agency held March 2, 1976, as written, seconded
by Mr. Merritt and carried, Mr. Tyrell abstaining.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
There was no unfinished business.
NEW BUSINESS:
4. PACIFIC TELEPHONE COMPANY REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL EASEMENT AND PAYMENT
On request by staff, Agency continued the request from Pacific Telephone
Company for additional easement and payment to replace aerial cable with
underground cable.
5. RESOLUTION NO. CRA -78: WARRANTS & DEMANDS, Demand Nos. 535 thru 542 in
the amount of $25,788.14
Mr. Tyrell moved to adopt Resolution No. CRA -78 A RESOLUTION OF THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ALLOWING CERTAIN CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS IN THE SUM OF $25,788.14, DEMAND NOS. 535 THRU 542, seconded
by Mr. Merritt and carried.
6. COMMUNICATION:
There were no communications.
7. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS:
Executive Director Koski advised the tenant, Aamco Specialists, at
5525 Rosemead Boulevard, which was recently acquired by the Agency,
has made a tentative offer for six hoists and one roof - mounted sign
for a total amount of $1100. Mr. Merritt moved to accept the offer
for the purchase of surplus property, seconded by Mr. Tyrell and
carried.
8. ADJOURNMENT:
On motion by Mr. Dennis, seconded by Mr. Greenberg and carried,
meeting adjourned at 8:27 p.m. Next regular meeting of the Community
Redevelopment Agency will be held Tuesday, April 6,1976, in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall.
