A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE
THE CITY MANAGER TO OBTAIN REPLACEMENT
VEHICLES FOR THE TWO NEWLY ELECTED CITY
COMMISSIONERS; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to provide replacement
vehicles for the two newly elected officials; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the City
Manager to provide replacement vehicles for the two newly elected Commissioners, Vice Mayor
Kelley and Commissioner Santiago.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. WHEREAS,City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes
the City Manager to purchase replacement vehicles for the two(2)newly elected Commissioners,
Vice Mayor Kelley and Commissioner Santiago.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of November, 2012.
