RESOLUTION AMENDING WORK PLAN FOR
NEIGHBORHOOD PRESERVATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Borough of earteret desires to amend the Neighborhood Preservation
Program (NPP) Work Plan, which is funded by a grant from the New Jersey Department
of Community Affairs; and
WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP) Work Plan amendments
include programmatic activities, including Lower Roosevelt Avenue Streets cape
improvements, and exterior aesthetics/materials grants, along with housing rehabilitation
improvement activities, as included in the approved NPP Work Plan; and
'WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret amends the Neighborhood Preservation Program
(NPP) Work Plan to meet the needs of the target area neighborhood.
NOW BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED as follows:
I. Neighborhood Preservation Program fimding award period December 1,
2004 through June 20, 2010 remains in place for the amended work plan
activities.
2. Neighborhood Preservation Program Work Plan amendments are 100%
programmatic activities.
3. Neighborhood Preservation Program amended programmatic activities
will be expended to implement Lower Roosevelt Streetscape
improvements, housing rehabilitation, and exterior aesthetics/materials
grants in the Chrome target area neighborhood.
