A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
A CONTRACT IN THE AINIOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $11,174 TO AESCO, INC. FOR
THE PREPARATION OF THE GEOTECHNICAL REPORT FOR THE NEW ANNEX
BUILDING AND NEW COUNCIL CHAMBERS, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.905, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, on April 27, 2010, the City of Lynwood released a Request for
Proposals (RFP) for the preparation of the Geotechnical Report for the New Annex
Building and new Council Chambers; and
WHEREAS, eleven firms requested RFP's and six responded to the RFP and
two proposals were found not responsive; and

WHEREAS, AESCO, Inc. is a qualified firm and has the staffing and expertise to
prepare the Geotechnical Report for the New Annex Building and new Council
Chambers for a not-to-exceed fee of $11,174.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council awards a consulting services
contract to AESCO, Inc. in the not-to-exceed amount of $11,174 for the preparation of
the Geotechnical Report for the New Annex Building and new Council Chambers,
Project. 4011.67.905 and finds that AESCO, Inc. is the most qualified proposer per
Lynwood Municipal Code section 6-3.9. '
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement between
the City of Lynwood and AESCO, Inc. in a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 2010.
