3. CERTIFICATION OF AGENDA POSTING BY CITY CLERK
4. FIREWORKS STAND PERMIT
Comments:
Council recently allocated permits for sate of fireworks by local
community based organizations. The Lynwood High School
Booster Club has participated in the past and was inadvertently
.left out of the applicant pool this year. As this is the Booster
Club's major fundraising event, they have asked that Council
grant a permit.
Recommendation:
That Council grant the permit.

SPECIAL MEETING OF JUNE 1,-1996
5. SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT
Comments:
The operator of the Mana Restaurant at 3840 Martin Luther
King Jr. Blvd. has requested permission to hold a special event
at the former bowling alley.
The request is for cone-day-only event to be held on Friday,
June 7, 1996. The event will consist of a closed circuit
televising of the Chavez v. De La Hoya boxing match for the
general public.
The operators will provide security service and parking control .
to assure no disruption occurs as well as liability insurance..
Recommendation:
That Council approve the special permit request.
