Resolution No. 12-8498
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA LOCKA,FLORIDA,DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO SUBMIT BUDGET INFORMATION IN
ORDER TO PLAN FOR MID YEAR BUDGET
AMENDMENT; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka is concerned about recent
unbudgeted expenditures; and
WHEREAS,the City will do a mid-year budget adjustment in April,; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission desires to be informed as to the state of the budget and
conformance of the actual budget to the adopted budget,prior to the mid-year budget adjustment in
order to properly plan for the mid-year budget amendment.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby directs the City Manager,
to advise the City Commission of the budget performance year-to-date, comparing the actual
budget to the adopted budget,no later than the first Commission meeting scheduled in February,in
order to provide the Commission with the information necessary to plan for the mid-year Budget
Amendment.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
