RESOLUTION NO. ), J
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL
OF A PLAT TO HOLY NAME OF JESUS CHURCH
WHEREAS, Holy Name of Jesus Church (Applicant) has requested preliminary
approval of a plat of certain property located generally near the intersection of Holy
Name Drive and Co. Rd. 24 ; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission and city council have reviewed the
preliminary plat submitted by the Applicant.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota that preliminary approval is granted for the Holy Name of Jesus Church
plat, subject to the following conditions:
1. The Applicant must dedicate on the final plat the drainage and utility
easements and road right-of-ways as required by the city engineer;
2. The Applicant must adjust the lighting affixed to the building to ensure
that the globe of the lamp is enclosed on all sides except the bottom and that no light
from the fixture shines directly onto any adjacent property or right-of-way; and
3. The Applicant must pay to the city for administrative expenses the
amount determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to the city of
reviewing this application;

4. The Applicant must submit a current abstract of title or registered
property abstract covering all the land within the subdivision for review by the city
attorney; and
5. The Applicant must submit the final plat to the city for approval within
180 days of the date of the adoption of this resolution, which final plat must in all
material respects conform to the preliminary plat, except that it must incorporate all
changes and modifications required by this resolution.
