APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT-
T & M ASSOCIATES-RE: GREEN ACRES-PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT
BLOCK 279, LOT 2
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") is in need of specialized
engineering services with regard to the preparation of a Green Acres-Preliminary
Assessment, Block 279, lot 2; and
\VHEREAS, the engineering frnn of T &M Associates, possess the requisite knowledge
and expertise to provide such services; and
WHEREAS, T &M Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a
maximum cost not to exceed $5,000.00; and
\VHEREAS, the Chief Financial Oft1cer has certified that funds are or will be available
for the same.
NO\V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. The proposal by T &M Associates to provide engineering services for
the preparation of a Green Acres~Pre1iminary Assessment, Block 279,
Lot 2 in the amount not to exceed $5,000.00 billable, is hereby
approved.
2. This award is made as a professional services contract pursuant to
N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1) (a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's Fair and
Open process as authorized by law.
Adopted this 151 day of October, 2009
and certified as a true copy of the
original on October 2, 2009.
