MINUTES
OCTOBER 4, 1977
INITIATION:
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Merritt called the meeting of the Community Redevelopment
Agency to order at 8:17 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 1977, in the
Council Chamber of the City Hall.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Members - Atkins, Dennis, Greenberg, Merritt
Absent: Members - Tyrell
Also Present: Executive Director Koski, General Counsel Martin,
Assistant Executive Director Dragicevich
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Mr. Greenberg moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting
of the Agency held on September 20, 1977, as written, seconded by
Mr. Dennis and carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
None.
NEW BUSINESS:
4. REQUEST TO SELL CHRISTMAS TREES - SOUTHWEST CORNER ROSEMEAD
BOULEVARD AND LAS TUNAS DRIVE
Executive Director Koski presented background information stating
the applicant has occupied the vacant parcel at the southwest
corner of Rosemead Boulevard and Las Tunas Drive for Christmas
tree sales for the past two years.
Mr. Greenberg moved to approve request subject to conditions set
forth in staff memo, seconded by Mr. Dennis and carried.
5. RESOLUTION NO. CRA -118: WARRANTS AND DEMANDS
Mr. Atkins moved to adopt Resolution CRA -118 A RESOLUTION OF THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ALLOWING CERTAIN
CLAIMS AND DEMANDS IN THE SUM OF $5,842.15, DEMAND NOS. 699 THRU
704, seconded by Mr. Dennis and carried.
6. COMMUNICATIONS:
None.
7. MATTERS FROM AGENCY MEMBERS:
None.
8. ADJOURNMENT:
On motion by Mr. Atkins, seconded by Mr. Dennis, the meeting adjourned
at 8:20 p.m. Next regular meeting of the Community Redevelopment
Agency will be held Tuesday, October 18, 1977, 8 p.m. in the Council
Chamber of the City Hall.
