Home My Public Portal About1992-080Member lAt telga_k introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. r %c-' RESOLUTION APPROVING A LAWFUL GAMBLING PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE HAMEL LIONS WHEREAS, the Hamel Lions have applied to the Minnesota Gambling Control Board for a permit to conduct lawful gambling at the Medina Entertainment Center, 500 T .H.55, Hamel, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires evidence of approval of the permit by the City of Medina; and WHEREAS, the Medina City Council has reviewed the application by the Hamel Lions and has no objection to the use of the named facility for the conduct of lawful gambling. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. Medina approves the application for a permit by the Hamel Lions to conduct lawful gambling at the Medina Entertainment Center; 2. The mayor and clerk -treasurer are authorized to sign the premises permit application of the Minnesota Gambling Control Board indicating the City's approval of said application; and 3. The clerk -treasurer is authorized and directed to take any and all other actions necessary to indicate the City's approval of the permit application by the Hamel Lions.
