RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION VACATING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENT BETWEEN LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1, THE
BANTLE FARM
WHEREAS, by action of it city council on nukk d2, 1992, the City of
Medina has approved a combination of Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, The Bantle Farm,
Hennepin County, Minnesota for all purposes, including compliance with the City's
zoning ordinance and subdivision regulations; and
WHEREAS, as a result of said lot combination, Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, The
Bantle Farm shall henceforth and forever more be considered as one lot; and
WHEREAS, there exist a drainage and utility easement running in favor of the
City between the lots which was established at the time the plat of The Bantle Farm
was established in 1989; and
WHEREAS, there no longer exists a need for said drainage and utility
easement; and
WHEREAS, the city council has conducted a public hearing on the vacation of
said easement, following two weeks' published and posted notice and 10 days' mailed
notice to affected property owners; and
WHEREAS, the council has determined that there exists no public need to
retain the easement and it is in the public interest that it be vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota as follows:
1. The drainage and utility easement legally described on Exhibit A attached
hereto is vacated.

2. The acting clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to prepare a
notice of completion of these proceedings and present same to the Hennepin
County auditor in compliance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 412.851.
