HomeMy Public PortalAbout1992-083Member / /.4 0 It) introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 94 --Y3 RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO BRAD RHEINGANS FOR A HOME OCCUPATION (PROFFESSIONAL WRESTLERS TRAINING CAMP) WHEREAS, Brad Rheingans (Applicant) has applied for a conditional use permit for a home occupation for a professional wrestlers training camp at 3355 Hunter Drive; and WHEREAS, the City's zoning ordinance requires a conditional use permit under such circumstances; and WHEREAS, the planning commission and city council have reviewed the Applicant's request and have determined that granting a conditional use permit to the Applicant will not adversely affect the development of adjacent properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina that a conditional use permit be granted for the stated purpose to the Applicant, subject to the following conditions: 1. The hours of operation shall be limited to 8am to 6pm, Monday through Friday; 2. The number of trainees on the property shall not exceed 5 at any one time; 3. There shall be no outside employees on the site; 4. Any new exterior lighting shall be designed and installed so that the globe is recessed and enclosed on all sides except the bottom and no light is cast directly on any other property; 5. All training shall be conducted indoors; 6. There shall be no loudspeakers or outside telephone bells; 7. The fire marshall shall inspect the portion of the house to be used in connection with the home occupation for compliance with fire code requirements; 8. There shall be no signs on the property advertising the home occupation; RHB41207 ME230-141 9. There shall be no outside storage allowed on the site; 10. There shall be no wrestling exhibitions or demonstrations conducted outside; 11. Any violation of the terms of Section 825.07, subd. 49.1 of the Medina City Code shall also be deemed a violation of this conditional use permit and the City may revoke or amend this conditional use permit accordingly; and 12. The Applicant shall pay to the City an administrative fee in an amount sufficient to reimburse the City for its costs in reviewing this application. DATED: 1C,( 11 1, 199A. Robert G.
