RESOLUTION NO. 13-8536
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INVESTIGATE WAYS AND MEANS OF
WORKING WITH LENDING INSTITUTIONS TO
ASSIST OPA-LOCKA BUSINESSES, BUT NOT TO
TAKE ANY FINAL ACTION; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka desires to explore new avenues to assist the local
businesses in the City of Opa-locka; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the City
Manager to investigate ways and means of working with lending institutions to assist local
businesses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Session 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Session 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, authorizes and directs the
City Manager to investigate ways and means of working with lending institutions to assist local
businesses,but not to take any final action.
Session 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
