A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO PROHIBIT
CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT OF EMPLOYEES WHO
FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST THE CITY; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, employees of the City of Opa-locka have brought lawsuits against the City.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby resolves that
employees who bring lawsuits against the City should be prohibited from continuing to work for
the City.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
