HomeMy Public PortalAbout1992-088Member Ann Thies introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. qZ - 8� RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO RICHARD K. BURTNESS FOR A HOME OCCUPATION AT 1520 HUNTER DRIVE WHEREAS, Richard K. Burtness (Applicant) has applied for permission to conduct a home occupation at 1520 Hunter Drive; and WHEREAS, the City's zoning ordinance requires a conditional use permit under such circumstances; and WHEREAS, the planning commission and city council have reviewed the Applicant's request and have determined that granting a conditional use permit to the Applicant will not adversely affect the development of adjacent properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina that a conditional use permit be granted for the stated purpose to the Applicant, subject to the following conditions: 1. There may be no more than one outside employee at the premises; 2. The outside employee is required to park his or her vehicle within the Applicant's garage; 3. The Applicant must screen four outside parking places from the view of adjacent properties with appropriate landscaping. The landscaping must be installed by June 1, 1993 and must be maintained thereafter by the Applicant; and 4. The Applicant shall pay to the city an administration fee in an amount sufficient to reimburse the city for its costs in reviewing this application. DATED: October 6 , 1992. G.-ry M.
