HomeMy Public PortalAbout1992-093Member Gary Arromi tP adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved its CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 42-- 93 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE NO. ; 71 BY TITLE AND SUMMARY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina has adopted Ordinance No. a , amending the City's rural residential zoning ordinance; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes § 412.191, Subd. 4, allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances; and WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following summary would clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the amended zoning ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina that the city clerk -treasurer shall cause the following summary of Ordinance No. a 71 to be published in the official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance: Public Notice The City Council of the City of Medina has adopted Ordinance No. #27/ . The ordinance is an amendment of the City's rural residential zoning ordinance. The ordinance clarifies the uses permitted as of right and by conditional use permit in the rural residential district. The ordinance restricts the use of parcels of less than five acres to those upon which it can be demonstrated that a primary and secondary conventional septic system can be located. Slopes exceeding six percent cannot be used in calculating the amount of required soils and hard surface coverage may not exceed 50 percent of any lot.
