HomeMy Public PortalAbout1992-094Member Mitchell introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. ry - 9`1 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT OF MEDINA ROAD WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Medina Road from Brockton Lane to Holy Name Drive and from Hunter Drive to County Road 24 by placement of stabilization fabric, drain tile and 12 inches of gravel base and 42 inches of bituminous surfacing 24 feet in width with 6 foot gravel shoulders and to assess the benefited properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates as consulting city engineer for study and that they be instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improve ent as recommended.
