CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 9L - 95
RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND
CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT OF
MEDINA ROAD
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted June 16, 1992, a
report has been prepared by Bonestroo Rasene Anderlik & Associates with reference
to the improvement of Medina Road from Brockton Lane to Holy Name Drive and from
Hunter Drive to County Road 24.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MEDINA,
MINNESOTA :
1. The feasibility report for the improvement of Medina Road by placement
of stabilization fabric, drain tile and 12 inches of gravel base and 42
inches of bituminous surfacing 24 feet in width with 6 foot gravel
shoulders is hereby accepted by the city council.
2. The council will consider the improvement of Medina Road in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and non -abutting
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $985,440.
3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
16th day of September, 1992 in the council chambers of the city hall at
8 :15 p . m. and the clerk -treasurer shall give mailed and published
notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Zietlow
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof :
Mitchell, Thies and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Absent: Mayor Acromite, Councilmember Scherer
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
