RESOLUTION NO. 13-8546
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO APPROVE THE
SETTLEMENT WITH ROADRUNNER PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES, LLC, IN THE AMOUNT OF $57,000.00, PAYABLE
FROM ACCOUNT NO. 28-514390; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Case No. 12-10659 CA09 Roadrunner Professional Services, LLC,
was in litigation with the City of Opa-locka; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, determined it is in the best
interest of the City to settle with Roadrunner Professional Services, LLC, in order to avoid
unnecessary expense and litigation costs; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to approve the
settlement agreement with Roadrunner Professional Services, LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, approves the settlement
between Roadrunner Professional Services, LLC and the City of Opa-locka, in the total amount
of$57,000.00, inclusive of attorney fees, payable from Account No. 28-514390, in substantially
the form attached hereto as Exhibit"A".

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.

Pursuant to F.S. 44.302 and the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.700 of seq.,

executed in settlement of disputes of this nature as to the issues resolved.
Each party shall bear their respective attorney's fees and costs.
All matters raised at the conference remain privileged,unless otherwise agreed to
by all parties.
