RESOLUTION NO. 13-8551
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO USE ANY UNCAPTURED OR
AVAILABLE FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A GYMNASIUM AND RELATED
FACILITIES AT INGRAM PARK; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City is currently making improvements to City facilities at Segal Park;
and
WHEREAS the City is in need of a gymnasium and related facilities at Ingram Park; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby directs and
authorizes the City Manager to use any un-captured or available funds to be used towards
construction of a gymnasium and related facilities at Ingram Park, to the extent that such funds
may lawfully be used for such purposes.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
