5. AUTO ALLOWANCE
Comments:
On February 5, 2001 the City Council adopted a resolution that
recommendations made by the City Manager for certain managers for
auto allowance at $300 per month shall be ratified by the City Council.
Based on the extensive use of a personal vehicle in the4 course of
employment, the following positions are recommended for auto allowance:
• Project Manager/Housing
• Project Manager/Redevelopment
• Code Enforcement Manager
Recommendation:
That the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled, "A
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING AUTO ALLOWANCE FOR IDENTIFIED POSITIONS".

SUBJECT: AUTO ALLOWANCE

That the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled, "A Resolution of the City
Council of the City of Lynwood Approving Auto Allowance for Identified Positions."

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING AN AUTO ALLOWANCE
FOR IDENTIFIED POSITIONS
WHEREAS, the duties of the position of certain management staff requires the
extensive use of a personal vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the City should compensation these managers for their expenses; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the approving of auto allowance for
the positions of Project Manager/Housing; Project Manager/Redevelopment and Code
Enforcement Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the position of Project Manager/Housing; Project Manager/
Redevelopment and Code Enforcement Manager shall be provided with an automobile
allowance of $300 per month.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
