RESOLUTION NO. 13-8563
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, SUPPORTING THE
FOUNDATION OF MONSIGNOR FELIPE BELLO, 7TH
ANNUAL DONATING SMILES CHARITY DENTAL
MISSION, ON SATURDAY MARCH 16, 2013, AT THE
DORAL DENTAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 9757 NW 41ST
STREET, DORAL; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Foundation of Monsignor Felipe Bello 7th Annual Donating Smiles
Charity Dental Mission focuses and assists in educating and creating public awareness IN the
community regarding dental and oral health; and
WHEREAS, the Foundation OF Monsignor Felipe Bello will be hosting its 7th Annual
Donating Smiles Charity Dental Mission on March 16, 2013, at the Doral Park Dental Center,
9757 NW 41st Street, between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm, with a dedicated team of health care
professionals and volunteers attending; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to support and
participate in the 7th Annual Donating Smiles Charity Dental Mission, and to transport 25 of
Opa-locka's youths to receive free dental examination and basic dental care.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission supports the Foundation of Monsignor Felipe Bello
7th Annual Donating Smiles Charity Dental Mission, on March 16, 2013, and hereby authorizes
Resolution No. 13-8563
the City Manager to provide transportation for 25 youths to attend and receive free dental
examination and basic dental care provided.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.

Children from low income areas in Miami-Dade, Dorai,
Opa locka, and Homestead will receive FREE dental
examinations and basic dental care by a team of
dedicated health care professionals and volunteers.
The foundation's main focus is to educate the public and
create community awareness regarding the importance
of oral health and its relationship to other illness.
