RESOLUTION NO. 13-8564
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO PURCHASE LARGER BUS TO
ACCOMMODATE THE SENIOR CITIZENS ON THE
MOVE PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka has determined that there is
a need for a larger bus for the Senior Citizens on The Move Program; and.
WHEREAS,the present bus is not large enough to accommodate the growing population
of senior citizens in the City of Opa-locka.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes and
directs the City Manager to purchase a larger bus to accommodate the Senior Citizens On The
Move Program, as allocated in the current budget.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of March, 2013.
