RESOLUTION NO. 13-8565
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO PARTNER WITH THE OPA-LOCKA
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORP (CDC) FOR HOME
ACQUISITION FOR CITY EMPLOYEES; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to partner with Opa-
Locka Community Development Corp ("CDC"), in order to assist City employees in obtaining
home ownership; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission desires the City Manager to work with the Opa-Locka
CDC to assist City employees interested in purchasing a home.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby directs and
authorizes the City Manager to work with the Opa-locka CDC in developing a program to assist
interested City employees with the opportunity to obtain home ownership.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of March, 2013.
