RESOLUTION NO. '79_2
RESOLUTIOI~T OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CI'I'Y OF LYNWOOD DESIGNATING REDEVELOP-
i~IEiVT SURVEY AREA NU. 3 FOR STUDY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of tne City of Lynwood desires
that the area hereinafter described be studied to determine.if
a redevelopment project within this area is feasible; and
WHEREAS, a redevelopment project might be initiated within
this area shouid it.be found that such project is feasible; and
WFiEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law pro-
vides~that a redevelopment survey area may be designated by
resolution of the City Council,
t~OW, T~-IEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
HER~BY llOES RESOLVE as follows:
l. The City Council hereby designates as Redevelopment
Survey Area 110. 3, that area bounded by Imperial Highway, Long
° ,a '~
Beach Freeway, Fernwood Avenue, and Wright Road.
2. The City Council hereby finds that the said designated
area requires study to determine if a redevelopment project
within the area is feasible.
APP~OVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of January, 1979.
