RESOLUTION N0. 79-10
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DESIGNATING ITSELF AS THE HEARING PANEL
FOR SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT STANDARDS AS REQUIRED
BY THE Z'BERG-KAPILOFF SOLID WASTE ACT OF 1.976.
WHEREAS, on June 21, 1977 the City Council of the
City of Lyriwood's designation of the Los .Angeles County
Department of Health Services as enforcement agency for solid
waste management standards as required by the Z'Berg-Kapiloff
Solid Waste Control Act of 1976 was approved by the California
State Solid Waste Management Board; and
WHEREAS,~at the time this designation was approved,
the Lynwood City Council became the governing body of the
enforcement agency; and
WHEREAS, the act requires that the governing body appoint
a. hearing panel under provisions of either subsection (1) or (2)
of section.667~g6.58 of .the Act.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that
1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood appoints
itself as the hearing panel in accordance with
subsection (1) of section 66796.58 of the
Z'Berg-Kapiloff Solid Waste Control Act of 1976; and
2. The names of the members are George W. Higgins,
E~:~L:"-Morris, JamesRowe, John Byork, and Eugene
Green; and
3. Filing and Correspondence shall be mailed to the
City Clerk, City of Lynwood, 11330 Bullis Road,
Lynwood, California 90262.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of Feb. 1979.
